Refund & Cancellation Policy

1. Subscription Model

Exxpense offers free access with limited functionality and paid Pro subscriptions with expanded feature access. Paid subscriptions are billed on a recurring basis through Razorpay.

2. Auto-Renewal

Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing cycle unless cancelled before the renewal date. By subscribing, you authorize recurring charges according to your selected plan.

3. Cancellation

Users may cancel subscriptions at any time. Upon cancellation:

  • Future renewals stop
  • Access to Pro features continues until the end of the active billing period
  • No additional charges are applied after cancellation

Cancellation does not retroactively refund previous charges.

4. Refund Policy

Except where required by applicable law, subscription payments are generally non-refundable. Refund requests may be reviewed on a case-by-case basis for situations including:

  • Duplicate payments caused by technical errors
  • Unauthorized charges verified by investigation
  • Extended service outages directly attributable to Exxpense
  • Accidental purchases involving minors

Refund approval remains solely at our discretion.

5. Non-Refundable Situations

Refunds will generally not be issued for:

  • Partial usage of a billing period
  • Failure to cancel before renewal
  • Change of mind
  • Unused subscriptions
  • Feature dissatisfaction where features were accurately described
  • Financial outcomes or budgeting results

6. Payment Failures

If recurring payment collection fails, retry attempts may occur and reminder notifications may be sent. A temporary grace period may be provided before access is downgraded to the Free plan. We reserve the right to suspend subscription access until successful payment is completed.

7. Chargebacks & Payment Disputes

Fraudulent chargebacks or abusive payment disputes may result in immediate suspension, permanent account termination, and restriction from future purchases. We reserve the right to provide relevant billing and account information to payment processors for dispute resolution.

8. Pricing Changes

Exxpense reserves the right to modify subscription pricing. Where reasonably possible, advance notice will be provided before pricing changes affect active subscribers. Continued use after renewal constitutes acceptance of updated pricing.
